Hummel - Trumpet Concerto - I. Allegro con Spirito (Trumpet accompaniment, Play-along, Backing Track)

Johann Nepomuk Hummel
(14 November 1778 – 17 October 1837)
was an Austrian composer and virtuoso pianist. His music reflects the transition from the Classical to the Romantic musical era. He was a pupil of Mozart, Salieri, and Clementi. He also knew Beethoven and Schubert.

Hummel’s Trumpet Concerto is still one of the most popular concertos for this instrument.
He composed it in 1803 for the Viennese court trumpeter
Anton Weidinger, whose newly developed key trumpet enabled him to play in a much more virtuoso manner than on the traditional natural trumpet.
